What the price of a foam party includes

Every foam package includes the same core service. We bring a commercial-grade foam cannon and operate it ourselves for the length of your party. We also bring high-end audio, so the music is part of the price rather than something you arrange separately. Full setup and cleanup are included in the package as well.

Setup typically takes 30-45 minutes depending on the event location and package selected. Setup and takedown time are included and do not reduce your foam party time.

Travel is part of the price question too. Events within Monroe County are included in our standard pricing. Events outside Monroe County may be subject to a travel fee based on distance. Please contact us for a custom quote.

One thing the price does not include is supervision. Our crew runs the foam cannon and the sound. You, or your staff at a school, camp, or daycare, supervise the guests the whole time. Plan on enough adults to watch the group, the same way you would at any party where kids are running around.

How a foam party price is built

Our foam pricing has three parts: the first hour, any additional hours, and optional add-ons. You start with the package that fits your guest count. The Small Foam Experience is $395 per cannon for the first hour and serves up to 50 guests. The Large Foam Experience is designed for events with more than 50 guests. Built for bigger crowds and bigger celebrations! We customize the number of foam cannons to fit your event. Each cannon is $495 for the first hour and $200 per extra hour.

If you want the foam to run longer, each additional hour is $200 per cannon on either package. That rate is the same for Small Foam and Large Foam, so the price difference between the two packages comes from the first hour alone. A longer party adds cost in even, predictable steps, which makes it easier to set a budget before you book.

Add-ons come last, and they change the look of the foam rather than the length of the party. Glow in the Dark Foam, Color Foam, and Foam with Colored Lights each add $100 to a foam package. Glow in the Dark Foam uses UV glow foam and UV black lights, and it is best at night. Color Foam offers a choice of blue, pink, purple, orange, or green. Foam with Colored Lights brings LED lasers, glow bars, and colored light effects. Add-ons can be combined, so you can pair Glow in the Dark Foam with Color Foam, for example.

Glow sticks are an extra add-on, and their price is on request, so ask us when you book. Bubbles are priced on their own. The Bubble Experience is $350 for the first hour, plus $200 for each additional hour, for up to 100 guests. It includes up to 15 hands-on bubble stations with DIY wands, a pro bubble machine, special ROC bubble juice, music, and an on-site bubbleologist.

The rental is a different kind of purchase from a party. It is $350 for a full day. Its deposit is 50% of the rental, and the rest is due at pickup or delivery. You pick up the foam cannon from us in Brighton, or have it delivered: we charge $3 per mile for the round-trip distance between our location and your event. Color Foam and Glow in the Dark Foam can be added to a rental as optional add-ons; Foam with Colored Lights is not offered on a rental. Worked examples for a one-cannon party

Here is how the numbers add up for a few common parties with one cannon. Each example uses the package prices above and leaves out glow sticks, which are priced on request.

A one-hour backyard birthday for 30 guests on the Small Foam Experience is $395. Stretch the same party to two hours and the total is $395 plus $200, or $595.

Glow in the Dark Foam, Color Foam, and Foam with Colored Lights each add $100 to a foam package. Ask us how an add-on fits your party length, and we will confirm your total when you book.

For an end-of-year school party or a camp day with more than 50 guests, the Large Foam Experience is the package to price. A one-hour Large Foam event with one cannon is $495. A two-hour Large Foam event with one cannon is $495 plus $200, or $695. If your event uses more than one foam cannon, each added cannon is priced the same way.

If bubbles suit your group better than foam, a two-hour Bubble Experience is $350 plus $200, or $550.

What affects your total

Most of your total comes down to two choices: how many guests you expect and how long you want the party to run. The rest depends on whether you want a different look or a different kind of event.

• Guest count: up to 50 guests fits the Small Foam Experience; over 50 guests calls for the Large Foam Experience, with foam cannons customized to your crowd.
• Party length: the first hour is the package price, and each additional hour of foam is $200 per cannon.
• Add-ons: Glow in the Dark Foam, Color Foam, or Foam with Colored Lights adds $100 to a foam package, and add-ons can be combined.

Deposit, payment, cancellations, and weather

For a party, a $50 deposit secures your date. If you need to reschedule, the deposit can be applied once to a new date within 12 months. We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and Venmo. A foam cannon rental has its own deposit: 50% of the rental, with the rest due at pickup or delivery.

If you need to cancel, here is our policy. The $50 deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made by the customer. If a cancellation occurs after the final payment has been made, refunds may be provided at ROC in the Bubbles' discretion depending on the timing of the cancellation and associated costs.

Weather is the other budget question for an outdoor party. Events go ahead in light rain or wind. If ROC in the Bubbles cancels due to unsafe weather conditions, including lightning, high winds, or other weather that makes the event unsafe, all payments including the $50 deposit will be refunded or applied to a future event date.

Because a rescheduled date has to fall within 12 months, it helps to think about a backup window when you book. That matters most for school and camp events, where the calendar leaves less room to move.

Budgeting for schools, camps, and organizations

Parents book us for birthdays, and so do schools, camps, daycares, rec centers, parks, colleges, and companies. Organizations often book early, so request your date as soon as you have one in mind. If your budget is set early in the year, that is a good time to get a number in front of whoever approves it.
